Purveyors of exceptional storytelling for orchestras, since 2004. We combine the traditions of vaudeville and classic theatre with a generous sprinkling of playful enthusiasm to create skillful and unique performances for all ages.


Actor & Orchestra Guest Artist 

In 2004, Michael Boudewyns co-founded Really Inventive Stuff.  In 2004, he also made his solo orchestra debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra. 

In the 18-19 season, Michael makes his debut with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra (The Life and Times of Beethoven), and in England, with the Airedale Symphony Orchestra (Tubby the Tuba).

Also this season, he returns to the Richmond Symphony Orchestra (The Story of Babar), New Haven Symphony Orchestra (Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham), Symphony in C (Peter and the Wolf), University of Southern Maine (Peter and the Wolf), and the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra (The Life and Times of Beethoven).

In 2013, Mr. Boudewyns was featured on PBS in Really Inventive Stuff's performance of Robert Kapilow's Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. 

His many orchestra performances also include Beyond the Score presentations with the Philadelphia Orchestra (Beethoven 5, Bartok’s The Miraculous Mandarin, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, and Prokofiev 5), the National Symphony Orchestra (Shostakovich 4) and the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra (Mussorgsky'sPictures at an Exhibition, Tchaikovsky 5 and Beethoven 5). 

His theatre credits include American Players Theatre,  Resident Ensemble Players (REP),  Delaware Theatre Company, Enchantment Theatre Company,  First State Children’s Theater Company, and the Utah and Baltimore Shakespeare festivals. 

Mr. Boudewyns is a graduate of the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware and co-founder of .
